I love restaurants. I love sitting there, especially at cafes with great coffee and food, sitting and watching everything around me. Having very, very long lunches or coffee. I love food and that is one of the reasons why I go to different restaurants.
The other day I was looking for a good place to hang out in Surat and I came across this cafe with incredible view situated in center of the city, beside Indoor stadium, Ghod dod Road- The Hog spot cafe.
It is true when they say ‘seeing water calms your soul’. I spent two hours drinking my coffee and eating cheese corn cigar rolls with delicious herb sauce and salad. The flavors and the view were really relaxing and my visits to this cafe continued thereafter.
The cafe has vivid interior! With such catchy vibrant colors it has also got pretty site to admire inside the cafe. The place is cozy for both to enjoy with friends or colleagues and to have a good time on your own with some good reads and interesting games.
I got to try their scrumptious divergent menu last weekend. Started with Cream of Champignon, a creamy start to my lunch with mushroom duxelle soup served with crunchy garlic bread.
One of my favorite appetizing finger foods at THS is Corn Cheese Cigarillos. Crunchy Cigar rolls filled with moderately spicy cheese and corn inside. It is served with savory herby sauce and salad. It is sufficiently filling for my tiny hunger so I never come out of this place without having it.

Hogspot is one of the cafes which would a great suggestion for salad’s place. This toothsome Outrageous Herbaceous salad has more than just good taste to it. It was chick peas with a continental twist of peppers, celery, quinoa, cilantro (chinese parsley), rocket leaves & lemon dressing.
Quinoa are a gluten-free grains, high in protein and one of the few plant foods that contain all nine essential amino acids which are also high in fiber. Worth it if you’re looking for salads that taste luscious and are filling.

Cheese jalapeno steak is a new addition to their menu. This one is a bombshell starter! These are zesty, and have a vivid, spicy, piquant, savory flavor of jalepino stuffed with mozarella and processed cheese, infused with Italian herbs. Each crunchy bite takes you to a journey of spicy and cheesy ride.

Potato ala kebab are as scrumptious as they look as if they are shouting ‘Eat Me!’. These are stuffed with green peas & cheese served along with honey mustard sauce and salad.

Cottage cheese cake is herb infused cottage cheese cake. This is not served with a whole piece of cottage cheese, but soft cake served with chunky tomato sauce and rich italian salad. I love the freshness of vegetables in every dish I tried here.

THS has got wide range in Pasta which are delicious and healthy. They have beetroot ravioli, Spinach ravioli and Pasta that are served with zuchini, broccoli with combination sauce. Pasta Barberesca is one of them. The menu also includes zoodles.
Zoodles are an incredibly fresh and healthy alternative to pasta. They are made out of vegetables (zoodles are generally noodles made out of zuchini), a fun way to increase the amount of vegetables we eat in form of Pasta.

Cheela Ghotala is another example of desi twist to lasagne. These are stuffed with spinach, corn, cream cheese. It is surrounded with a pond of cream cheese and tastes heavenly dulcified.

Exotic Italian pizzawas extremely colorful and tempting. Fresh sauted broccoli and zuchini in Italian herbs topped with our favorite cheddar, mozarella cheese with a grid of mayonnaise to complete it. I have never had a pizza with these many healthy vegetables as toppings. If your kids love pizza and aren’t eating vegetables at home, this is the right place for your next hang out!

Nutella mascarpone crepes are these elegant looking crepes filled with nutella and mellowed with chocolate sauce and vanilla icecream. These were syrupy and rich with nutella. *heart heart heart*

Being at a cafe and come out without trying their coffee? That’s not what Amreen would do. I got to try the two unique coffees here.
Coconut latte is an organic espresso based in steamed coconut milk. A really good alternative for all the vegans out there. The other one in the frame is Melya.
Melya is a palatable coffee if you love to add flavors of cocoa and honey to it. If you are accepting to new flavors and are an explorer, you must try these two cuppa joes at The Hog Spot.

Ending this post with my favorite flat lay of my favorite part of lunch.
In our ever developing city Surat, where cafes have created a huge change in tastes of Surtis, The Hog Spot is a perfect place with a menu designed for mini as well as large cravings to fulfill in a healthy way.
